A BRIEF HISTORY OF BADA
Burnt Ash Drama Association was founded in 1961 to provide high-quality theatre for a local audience. Thought-provoking drama sits comfortably alongside hilarious comedy when performed by this highly-talented and skilled company. This Award Winning company has also taken productions abroad to places such as The Salon Varietés in Fuengirola, Spain and to Cornwall at the world famous Minack Theatre.
The company strives to continually develop and broaden the scope of what is possible including creating a touring ENSA show that is able to be performed in any venue and at any function. This production has spent several wonderful evenings in performance and none more special than at the historic Bluebell Railway.
With Sir Alan Ayckbourn as our patron, we follow in his footsteps and strive to achieve the very highest standards of production value in all we do. For more information on our patron CLICK HERE.
2021 saw BADA celebrate our Diamond Anniversary Year staging our most well-received pantomime thus far. We hope that our high standards and dedication to delivering the finest theatre means we will be around for another 60 years at least!!!
New members are always welcomed and encouraged to help us achieve this goal. If you would like to further understand why you should join, then CLICK HERE to see what some of our members have said.
